Instagram the famous image sharing app, just like its parent company Facebook will soon allow users to download a copy of their content they have uploaded.
This news comes after amid global concerns about the privacy of users information on social media platforms and the amount of users data the company keeps.
While Facebook does allow you to download the data of your profile, so that users can keep track of their activity log.
The goal is to launch before 25th May, to help Instagram comply with upcoming privacy laws that require data portability..
Instagram currently has around 800 million users worldwide and figure soon to cross 1Billion, Instagram hasn’t yet confirmed the official date for users to download the data.
